Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These are the ground rules for the KinderDraw app and the kinderdraw.com website. KinderDraw is made by an independent developer in Canada. We've kept this short on purpose.

1. Who this is for

KinderDraw is made for children aged 3–7. A parent or guardian should install it, set it up and keep an eye on how it's used. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms, for yourself and for the child you look after. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Using the app

You may use KinderDraw for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. Please don't copy or resell it, take it apart, or interfere with our servers. If you got the app from the App Store, Google Play or Amazon Appstore, that store's standard terms apply too.

3. Your drawings

Drawings are yours. They stay on your device, and we don't receive them or claim any rights to them. If you use a photo as a background, please make sure you're allowed to use it.

4. Our content

The app, its guides, shapes, letters, artwork, name and logo belong to us or the people who license them to us. You get to use them, but you don't own them. Some content is downloaded from our server, and we may add, change or remove it over time.

5. Credits

Many of the icons in the app and on this website are from the Dazzle Line Icons collection by Dazzle UI, obtained via SVG Repo and used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. We resized and recolored some of them. The Chewy and Pacifico fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License. These credits are also in the app, under Settings, then About.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do and don't collect.

7. Paid features

There is nothing to buy in KinderDraw today. If we add paid features later, they'll be sold through the app store, the price will be shown before you buy, and a grown-up check will come first. Refunds follow the store's rules.

8. No guarantees

We work hard to make KinderDraw reliable, but it's provided "as is". We can't promise it will always work, run on every device or be free of mistakes, or that it will teach any particular skill. Some features need an internet connection to download content. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or knock-on losses from using the app. None of this takes away rights you have by law that can't be waived.

9. Stopping

You can stop using KinderDraw whenever you like by uninstalling it. We may block access to our servers if someone misuses them.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you don't agree with the new version, you can stop using the app.

11. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of that province. This never overrides consumer-protection rights that apply to you where you live, including any right to go to a court near you.
